The March 2009 challenge is hosted by Mary of Beans and Caviar, Melinda of Melbourne Larder and Enza of Io Da Grande. They have chosen Lasagne of Emilia-Romagna from The Splendid Table by Lynne Rossetto Kasper as the challenge.
This challenge was indeed very challenging. It took 3 tries of making the homemade lasagna noodles before I got it right. The bechamel sauce was wonderful and the presentation was beautiful. Next time I'll make the bechamel and ragu sauce, but skip the homemade pasta, at least until I have a little more time. Whew! Your lasagne looks great. I agree on the time-consuming part.
I can't believe you tried several times! I didn't have that patience! I agree that the Ragu was the best part of the recipe! :-)
