60th Birthday Party!!!!

This past weekend we had a 60th birthday party for Matt's dad. The plan was to have a surprise party in Galveston with a deep sea fishing trip, obviously that trip was cancelled after Hurrican Ike. The kids had so much fun playing with their cousins and they thoroughly enjoyed all the hayrides.

Piano Lessons

Maggie started piano lessons this year from Sharon Ross. She is really sweet and Maggie loves her. It's great because she comes to the house, which means I don't have to drive around Tyler with Rylee and Reese for that amount of time. Lessons are after dinner so Maggie bathes and gets in her jammies before Sharon gets there. Rylee and Reese are so funny, they will hide behind the dining chairs and watch, very quietly....I think Rylee is just counting the days (or years) until she can take.

Atlanta Georgia Trip

These pictures are of Rylee and I in Atlanta, GA. We went with Matt for business and had a wonderful time. Reese and Maggie stayed with mom in Tyler, Maggie had school & Reesie had therapy.
Pictures in front of New World of Coca-Cola Museum. Rylee thought this was a really neat place, she got to sample coke products from Latin America, Europe, Asia, Africa, etc...I think our favorite was the pinenut soda from Africa, sounds strange but actually pretty yummy!

What's with the scary face???

Camping at Tyler State Park!!!

We bought a popup camper this past Spring and have thoroughly enjoyed it. The ducks in the picture showed up at our campsite each day for bread, at night we fed the raccoons marshmellows. The girls thought it was really funny!

Posing in the grass by the lake!!

Scottish Rites Hospital Stay

This poster was made for Reese when we got to Scottish Rites for her growth hormone testing. It was posted directly above her bed to let all the nurses know about her. The volunteers at the hospital also brought her a big sack of all her favorite toys, she loved it.

Reese loved riding in this wagon while at the hospital. She put her sippy cup in the cupholder and clutched on to the little "lamby" they gave her. We walked round and round the nurses' station, many times. When the nurses were trying to start her iv she looked at Matt and I (while crying) and said "wanta go walking". It was so sweet, I guess she thought that by suggesting another walk in the wagon she could escape all the nurses.
